Hiking Near The Gorge Amphitheatre
There’s something magical about a weekend at The Gorge Amphitheatre—and we believe that magic extends beyond the music. If you’re arriving early or staying a little longer, take some time to explore the natural beauty that surrounds this stunning part of Washington.
Here are a few of our favorite local hikes—perfect for stretching your legs, soaking in the views, and getting grounded before or after a high-energy concert experience.
🏞 Ancient Lakes Trail
Hidden in the desert landscape, this trail leads to a quiet series of lakes surrounded by cliffs and waterfalls. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and feels like a hidden oasis.
Tip: Mosquitoes love it here too, so don’t forget your bug spray!
☀️ Echo Basin Trail
Open views, dramatic cliffs, and sweeping desert landscapes make this hike unforgettable. It’s not a shaded trail, so plan for the sun.
Pack: Plenty of water and sunscreen—especially in summer months!
⛰ Dusty Lake Trail
Looking for a challenge? This one’s for you. The views are incredible, but there are sections with steep drops, so it’s best for confident hikers.
Heads up: If you’re afraid of heights, this might not be your trail.
📸 Frenchman Coulee Trail
A local favorite for a reason—this trail winds through a landscape of towering basalt columns and wide-open spaces. Ideal for casual hikers, photographers, and anyone who wants to take in the area’s unique beauty.
